Who are you and what are you doing here?
Why am I doing this?
The primary reason why I am doing this is to organize my own resources. I am currently in the process of becoming an "active citizen" and felt that I needed a tool to help structure my attempts to "change the world". With everything that I now read, I find it difficult to keep track of the complexity of the current political landscape. This website helps me organize various issues with the help of aesthetically pleasing icons.
My secondary reason is to stop bothering people with mass emails. People can join a list serve or log on as they please and possibly provide those who do with a means to become involved. However, my inability to read everything in the world will prevent this site from being all-inclusive. Therefore, I will rely on the contributions of others to achieve a more balanced end. Hopefully, the forum will also provide a means to discuss and debate various issues in the traditional blogging sense.
